Cedarbridge MD Receives Private Equity World Award 2011 For Mena Contribution

Imad Ghandour Honoured By International PE Leaders At Dubai Award Ceremony

On November 27, 2011, Imad Ghandour received the prestigious Private Equity World Award 2011 for his investment achievements and contributions to the private equity industry in the MENA region. Imad is Managing Director of CedarBridge Partners, a MENA focused Private Equity firm.

In making the selection, the panel of judges, composed of three international leading practitioners from the industry, Jason Cheng of Kerogen Capital, Gerald Carton of Coller Capital, and Paul Forsyth of Apache Advisors, sighted Imad's, "professional track record as a private equity investor." They also applauded, "His contribution to the industry in general as a co-founder of the Gulf Venture Capital Association in 2005 and its predecessor MENA Private Equity Association in 2011".

Imad has invested over $225 million in 14 transactions in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and China. He sits on the boards of Advanced Laboratory Services, Kids First Group, Triumpharma, and Mobile Health Company. He also is a member of the steering committee of the MENA Private Equity Association.

On accepting the award, Imad said: "This award is a great honour, but also an immense challenge.
